Why Did You Decide to Become A Dentist?
Dr. Babarinde really enjoys being able to promote good oral health in children and adults alike, and creating straighter, more self-confident smiles is wonderful as well. Her chosen career path is a great fit for her personal strengths and passions, and she looks forward to serving families for many more years.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Babarinde attended college at the University of Houston in Texas, earning her Bachelor’s in Health Education and graduating Magna Cum Laude. She was then accepted at Howard University, where she pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery, eventually graduating at the top of her class with a Summa Cum Laude distinction. During her time at Howard, she was involved in various mission trips and community service projects.
Finally, she went on to achieve her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Tufts University. She is an active member of the following organizations:
- American Dental Association
- American Academy of Orthodontists
- Omicron Kappa Upsilon
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Babarinde is originally from Nigeria and has a big family. She greatly enjoys spending her free time outside of work with loved ones, as well as exercising, traveling, volunteering, hiking, and reading.
